He began his journey in the world of paragliding at the young age of 6, assisting pilots by folding and storing equipment in his hometown. One of the pilots took an interest in teaching him to fly, and that's where our cat's adventure began. At the age of 12, he had his first tandem paragliding experience, where he truly felt the meaning of freedom, peace, and tranquility.
Now, at the age of 27, he continues to enjoy the pleasure of flying and sharing this unique experience in a place where problems and worries cease to exist. Our pilot has over 15 years of experience flying in Cauca, Sopo, Ibagué, and now in Quindío.

CO-FOUNDER AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
He started in the world of paragliding at a young age, watching his good friend Juan David (our pilot) soar from the mountains of their hometown, Calarcá. Cristhian is a young entrepreneur and dreamer dedicated to driving his projects forward, working day by day and focused on his goals.
That's why, in 2019, during a friendly conversation, the idea of creating Quindío Extremo emerged. It was a way for Juan David and Cristhian to share their passion for paragliding with others in a recreational manner. They decided to become partners, not just friends.

Our co-founder and pilot of Quindío Extremo started his journey at a young age, thanks to a pilot who introduced him to the wonderful world of paragliding. At the age of 12, he had his first flight and decided never to stop.
Juan David has over 13 years of experience in tandem flights in the coffee-growing region. In fact, it is the way he enjoys the activity the most. That's why he created Quindío Extremo in 2019, a company dedicated to paragliding in Quindío. It now has five certified pilots with a combined experience of over 20 years.

Our pilot SIMON, known for his acrobatic skills, started his paragliding journey at the age of 14 when a pilot from the Valle Union decided to teach him after Simon promised to dedicate his life to it.
When Simon started flying solo and experienced the aerodynamic forces and the effects of inertia in the air while performing acrobatics, he understood the magical charm of paragliding. This is the charm he prefers to transmit to passengers during their first paragliding experience. Simon, our extreme pilot, has over 10 years of experience in tandem flights in various locations such as Buitrera Hogar (Valle), Cerrito, Pie de Chinche, Pradera Valle, Florida Valle, Rosas Cauca, Tacueyo Cauca, Rio Blanco Sotara, Golondrinas (Cali), Peñas Negras (Cali), Roldanillo Valle, La Unión Valle, Anserma Nuevo Valle, and now in Quindío.

Jhon Andrés started his paragliding journey in 1995 when he worked helping to pack paragliding wings to earn some money. At the age of 10, he had the opportunity to fly with someone who ended up becoming his mentor in the city of Manizales. From that moment, becoming a paraglider pilot became a dream for him. At the age of 12, he made his first solo flight, and at 14, he became a tandem pilot, turning his dream into reality. Since that day, he decided to dedicate his life to paragliding.
This beautiful sport has allowed him to explore stunning locations throughout Colombia, one of them being the Chicamocha Canyon in Santander.
